I don’t know why, but there’s something about a big
flock of DeLoreans all in one place never fails to put a smile in my
heart. This was at the St. Patrick’s Day parade this past weekend
in Houston, via DMC’s Facebook page.

If you thought it took a long time to get to the top of the list and take delivery on a newly-assembled Ferrari
supercar, that's nothing compared to the time that has gone in to
building the brand's first theme park. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has been
under construction for two years now, and is finally set to open its
doors to the public sometime later this year. And when it does, it will
be not only the first theme park in the region, but the first of its
kind in the world.
The major attractions at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will comprise some 20
rides, including two roller-coasters: one based on an F1 car, running
at speeds at upwards of 200 kilometers per hour (125 mph) and shooting
straight up through the massive scarlet roof structure 62 meters into
the air.

Robert Collins started to rebuild a caddy. Something he could enjoy. What he ended up with was something no one could believe. From the back seat sound system, to the one of a kind, at least that we’ve seen, steering wheel, this Caddy is something we can all drop our jaws about.

The writing is officially on the wall.
Despite an overwhelmingly glowing response when it was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show last year, the Cadillac Converj and all its production plans have been laid to rest.
While a lot of us are pretty disappointed to hear that the Converj never even made it past the concept line, General Motors doesn’t seem to be all that affected with Cadillac
spokesman Nick Twork even saying that the Converj was nothing more than
just a concept. “It was never announced officially that we were
going to do the Converj. We never issued a press release," he said...

Ben Franklin and a gun isn’t necessarily the first combo that’d come to
mind if I was trying to come up with an airbrushed hood mural for my
donk, but I guess that’s why I don’t own a donk. For a better look,
check out Uncle Ben’s ‘72 Caprice, “Benji Lopez”. The bodywork sequence is really cool!..

Over the past few years here at Autoblog, we've come to pride ourselves
on our photography. But far from convincing ourselves that we're the
be-all-and-end-all, if anything, our drive to provide better visuals
has only taught us to appreciate quality automotive photography all the
more. There's certainly no lack of that out there these days, and the
intertubes have only made it all more accessible.

Speaking of rules, check out the criteria for this next custom car club. The first rule of Swift Club is that you must have at least 26-inch rims. The second rule of Swift Club is that you have to have an exotic interior.

The outgoing Volkswagen Touareg range has always lived on the wrong side of the tracks in America. It was a big, expensive Volkswagen.
Notice that we can't just say it was a big, expensive vehicle, because
those adjectives are almost as much the norm as anything else - we must
qualify those descriptors with the word "Volkswagen." And we can't help
but think that's part of the reason this go-almost-anywhere SUV never
really made a splash anywhere in the U.S. except in puddles.
The new 2011 Touareg is roomier, more powerful, more efficient and lighter. Much
lighter. That's how we like our VWs. And now it comes in hybrid form.
We spent a few hours in one to see what a Touareg reset looks like. Our
first impressions: So good, this is what the first Touareg should have
been like. Follow the jump for the story...

In 2007, actor Nicolas Cage leased a 1964 Rolls Royce
Silver Cloud III worth a cool $550K and a not-as-cool 2002 Corniche.
When he lost his shirt in the stock market, he returned 'em. Now he's
got a $240K bill. It's not the Best of Times for Nicolas Cage. According to a spokesman, Cage purchased a 60-month lease on a gorgeous 1964 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III valued at $550,000 in 2007 and because he's The Family Man he is, also picked up a 2002 Rolls Royce Corniche...

After being soundly defeated at Le Mans in 2009 for the first time in a decade, Audi
went back to work on improving its then-still-fresh R15 TDI prototype.
Race cars need to be able to run reliably and run long distances
between fill-ups. For the 2010 edition of the 24 hours of Le Mans the
team has produced what it is calling the R15+ with a focus on
efficiency and not breaking. Reductions to boost limits and air
restrictor sizes mean Audi had to re-calibrate its 5.5-liter diesel
V10. In the process, they've managed to maintain its 590+ horsepower
output while using less fuel...

Last year was brutal for the auto industry,
with sales down by 21 percent versus 2008. Sports cars were hit even
harder, as many customers shied away from spending big dollars on what
typically amounts to a second or third vehicle. The Chevrolet Corvette
was no different, as America's sports car saw sales plummet 48 percent
versus 2008 - the worst year for Vette sales in nearly 50 years. But
was the drop in Corvette sales because of the economy, or its new pony
car stablemate, the Camaro?
Wards Automotive claims that web data shows the number one competitor to the Vette isn't something like the Nissan GT-R or Porsche 911
- it's the reborn Camaro. But who in their right mind would cross-shop
a track-ready thoroughbred with near supercar performance and a
relative bargain price tag against the heavier, less agile, less
exclusive Camaro? Apparently a lot of people. The Camaro had a rather
remarkable 2009, with 61,648 units sold in its first year back. The new
Bowtie coupe even managed to beat out the Mustang
the last seven months of the year and came within 5,000 sales of
besting Ford's iconic steed despite the fact that the Camaro didn't go
on sale until spring...
