Looks like Sunline Racing have been spending some time with Voltex lately as they’ve ditched the standard spoiler in favour of this carbon GT Wing. Looking like the single element version of the same wing we saw Garage Defend fit to their R35 GT-R back in March.

The Nissan GT-Rs “premium midship” platform is proving to be an extremely potent one, fueling rumours and speculation that Nissan will leverage it in an upcoming Infiniti branded sedan. Septembers issue of Japanese car magazine Car Top features a rendering of such a car. Still just speculation at this stage but if this car becomes a reality expect interesting things for that 4 door sedan Nurburgring record currently held by the Caddilac CTS-V.

(A Honda engineer, left rear, shows the couple who had just taken delivery of the US' first leased FCX Clarity, how to 'fill 'er up!' at a West Los Angeles Shell station recently fitted for hydrogen storage and pumping; the Honda dealership handling the lease is about three miles from this gas station ... What a coincidence, huh? And, yes, that's the car its-own-self, glaring at the camera ... You'd think Honda PR people would take better photos, wouldn't you?)
History isn’t usually made at car dealerships, at least pleasant histories, but last Saturday that’s exactly what happened at Honda of Santa Monica, CA, when it delivered a new car, unlike any other, and about which few people could complain.
Local Southern California residents Ron Yerxa and Annette Ballester got the keys to the first FCX Clarity hydrogen fuel cell EV sedan in America. About 200 of the vehicles will be leased over the next three years around the country. Southern California will have three Honda stores with personnel factory-trained to sell, deliver, service and maintain these truly groundbreaking family sedans.
The timing of Honda getting their FCX cars on the roads of America couldn’t have been better. Just a month ago, a Shell gas station in West Los Angeles, just a few miles from the Honda of Santa Monica store, was outfitted with the equipment to store and sell hydrogen, one of about 45 places in the country where hydrogen is available to the public. Honda, at their US headquarters in Gardena, CA, also has hydrogen fuel “pumps” for filling-up hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicles.
(General Motors/Chevrolet Equinox hydrogen fuel cell-powered CUV, seen here at the most-recent Los Angeles Auto Show, is also hitting the road in California, New York City and Washington, DC).

It's happy to all of us. You're in a hurry, lock the car door, step out and as the door closes you're hit with the sudden realization: the keys are still in the car. Now what? You could call a lock smith or read this article from the folks over at RideLust.com
So you’ve locked your keys in your car and you need to get to work, but you don’t feel like paying a locksmith $100 dollars to do it and you don’t feel like smashing your window and having to pay for a new one later. What do you do?

The country's top award for a performance-based Street Machine was presented to North Lake, Wisconsin's Erv Roller Saturday Night, July 12th at the Goodguys 11th PPG Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. The Ring Bros. of Spring Green, Wisconsin, the same team that produced last year's Street Machine of the Year winner built Woller's 1969 Camaro, known as "RAZOR." That's the first time in the 14-year history of the award the winning car was produced by the same build team in consecutive seasons.

Those on the fence about the new Knight Rider television show need look no further than these shots of the newly upgraded KITT from Popular Mechanics shot at Comic-Con 2008. At a panel discussion in front of Knight Rider fanboys-girls they showed video of KITT employing Turbo Boost (before a very long press conference where the actor that plays Mike Tracer admitted he drives a supercharged Bullitt). The video apparently also featured the actors getting into a truck version of KITT — a KITTchero if you will.

The most striking feature of the unveil of the new Camaro was how strikingly similar the 2010 Chevy Camaro is to the Camaro Concept. We enlisted the help of GM designer Jeff Perkins, who worked extensively on the new muscle car, to help us with the magnifying glass and determine what those changes were. Hit the jump as Jeff guides us through sort of virtual walk-around, pointing out each of the individual tweaks and changes the designers made to bring the concept to production.

Last week we asked you to imagine the worst car color combination. You came up with so many amazing responses of production cars with catastrophic color choices, we've used them to compile a top ten list of the best of the worst. Hit the jump to for the ten worst production car color combinations and see how far we've come since Henry Ford famously told customers they could have the Model A in any color so long as it was black. Maserati has unleashed a high performance "S" iteration of the Quattroporte sport sedan for the 2009. Chief among the revisions is a V8 power unit with increased displacement, 4.7 liters over the standard version's 4.3, which pushes peak output to 425 hp and 361 lb-ft of torque and improves the zero-to-60 elapsed time to 5.3 seconds. The also S uses a revised "Skyhook" suspension with new damper settings, springs and valves to optimize suspension frequency response. Brakes developed jointly with Brembo are also standard, featuring six-piston monobloc calipers and 14.2-inch perforated rotors. more below...
