2009 Tesla Roadster - New Production Schedule |
|
Yes everyone wants their Tesla cars as soon as
possible. Production on any automobile is well known to start out slow and then
gradually increase in pace. The reason for this is the car companies are
protecting the quality of the first line of cars. The roadster is not just a
new car in the automotive world, it is a new car in a whole realm beyond the soon
to be old school combustion engine. There is allot that goes into the cars of
course and spending your dollar on the first Tesla you would be surprised if it
didn’t run correctly right? No! You would be completely pissed off…
As pace picks
up in production, Tesla aims to most likely be producing in excess of 100 cars
per month by November, 600 by the end of the year beginning of next.
The
data below is intended to provide a guideline as to when we plan to achieve
specific milestones in vehicle production. While this data will give you a
sense of when your car will be produced, the actual delivery time will lag by
about 8 weeks to allow for shipping and finishing. You will be contacted by
