The Pi is made right here in California.
At about 10 cents to charge, this electric bike is a hot Christmas gift for our going green lovers. The way this bicycle works is that you can pedal all you want. Or flick the switch and the silent motor will zip you around at 20 mph for up to 30 miles. Or do both in the hybrid mode (motor and pedaling together) and watch your distance increase to up to 100 miles and beyond. Whichever way you want to ride, you'll feel and look absolutely fabulous. Even when handling steep, 25% grade, SF-class hills, congested roadways, narrow streets, or the quick trip to your favorite restaurant.
- A 4" diameter tube is extruded
from recycled aluminum, then roll-formed into the arch structure that
produces a very light, but very strong bike, on balance, to available
power, purpose and ergonomic relationships.
- Other
wattages are available depending on local, regional, state and host
countries of import
- Coupled to a semi-automatic 8-speed transmission,
the power of Pi is more than sufficient to make the switch from auto to
amazing
- Pi is capable of 30 miles per charge depending on terrain and
conditions and recharges in 3 hours from a standard household outlet
- Pi can also ascend most of the world's steepest streets with light
pedaling
